Mark Dale started his career in music at the age of 16, working for the legendary Passion Records located at Mash, London. Selling records to DJs like Jumping Jack Frost, 4 Hero, Dave Angel, and Frankie Valentine to name some. He was also a writer for Check Dis magazine and DJ’ing at warehouse parties like World Party, Spiral Tribe, and Evolution at the time. Playing a mix of Break Beat, House, and Techno.
After some time, he started DJ’ing for larger West End London clubs, the first being Knowledge, where he played with Colin Dale, Colin Faver, and Brenda Russell. He quickly moved on to playing in Europe and was resident at Deep space, Vapour space, Growth, Cyclone, Stasis, Electric Underground, Éclat, Digisole, Eclectrionik, Electric Boogie and Megawatt, which was his own club night.
He has also appeared at The Ministry of Sound, The End, Egg, The Fridge, Heavens, Aquarium, Ultimate Base, Tresor Club (Germany), The Cave Club (Austria), Douala (Germany) to name some. He has had interviews on the Radio and by magazines like Magic Feet, Lemon (Greece), Cool Fm (Greece), D.R.S.3 (Germany |Austria Switzerland), Apple Fm, and Groovetech Radio where he had a regular monthly show.
Mark has had several releases on vinyl but has only one under the Dark Male artist name ‘Nightlife’ on Groovetech Records. All other releases were under the name Mark Dale. He has a release on Fourier Transform, remixed by Colin Dale due later this year, and will launch ‘Origin of Mass’ in summer 2021.
